We live in a digital age where people see a post that somebody posts online and instead of getting inspired and tuning into who they are to created to be; most people would rather build their lives off someone else’s path. This week I talk about the thing that will make you successful in your career and your business: your blueprint. I highlight key points that will help you as you go along your journey to avoid comparison analysis. I provide the following tips:
1. Identify your oil.
Think about what it is that lights you up and one thing you know you are really good at.
2. Get a good community of people.
Build a community of people who help bring out your oil i.e your gifts and talent.
3. Never compare yourself to anyone else.
Never look at someone else’s life, career or path and model your own after it. Think about what it is that you have been called here to do and stick to it.
4. Stop seeking validation from others.
Don’t look to people to validate your gift , or your calling you are here for a reason with a specific assignment so stay focused on that.
5. Avoid the Impostor Syndrome.
You are qualified and you are called. Don’t allow situations to make you feel otherwise. When you start to doubt your achievements remember all of the amazing work you have accomplished and remember what you are here to do and let that keep you focused.
6. Celebrate your milestones.
As you win celebrate yourself and celebrate those around you. Creating a culture of celebration for yourself and others will enable you to work against the culture of unhealthy competition.
